This Fall my skin has been really dry, particularly my hands and body. My hands are generally dry during these months; however, I’ve never had any issues with my skin peeling on my body. So I was very surprised and a bit dismayed when I woke up one day and found that my skin was cracking in different places other than my hands. In addition to applying large amounts of coconut oil and almond oil on my skin in the morning and evening, I’ve been using an amazing body butter as well.
My sisters travelled to Greece this past Summer and purchased me a gift. Knowing my obsession with organic and natural cosmetics, they bought me a Souffle Body Butter from the brand BIOselect. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the texture and scent of the particular lotion I was given. While they have several different types of lotions, the one I was given is their Souffle Body Butter from their “Naturals” line. The scent I was given is “Orient Spell”, featuring Organic Olive Oil, Bergamot, Pink Pepper and Amber. This scent is so unique and I have never encountered a scent like it before. It’s also pretty strong, which fades throughout the day. The texture of the product is very thick and creamy and is very moisturizing. It also makes my skin very soft. When I first started to use it, I wanted to conserve it because I didn’t think it was sold in the US. Imagine my delight when I discovered that you can purchase in the here! They also have so many other products that look so delicious. Not only do they sell every type of lotion you could possibly image, they also sell a little bit of skincare, shampoo products, and soap bars. It always makes my heart so happy when I discover another organic brand! The fact that it’s based in Greece is cheery on top! It’s like having a little slice of Greece gracing my skin all day.
